MEET OUR TEACHERS AND STAFF
Ali Lafreniere (Ms. Ali) is the lead teacher in our five day, full day prekindergarten class. She joined the Exeter Day School team in 2017 and has been a preschool teacher since graduating from St. Michael’s College in 2001. Ali studied English and Early Childhood Education at St. Mike’s and continues to attend workshops to stay current with early childhood practices. Her goal is to make sure that each child feels special and well-loved and that her students are excited to come to school everyday. She promotes and supports independence, process over product, hands-on experiences and following her students’ interests and curiosities. Ms. Ali loves getting her students outdoors and feels so fortunate to have the PEA trails to explore. She often refers to the woods as their outdoor classroom.

When she is not at Exeter Day School, you can find her gathering with friends and family, walking through Exeter with her girls and Lulu or spending time at the lake or ocean.
